The Hot Rolled Steel Coil Metal Slitting Machine is designed to slit wide steel coils into narrow strips with accurate width, stable edge quality and reliable recoiling performance.
This slitting line is suitable for hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel, galvanized steel strips, color coated steel strips, stainless steel coils and aluminum coils. It is widely used before ERW tube mill production, roll forming production, steel service center processing and metal strip supply.
The standard machine configuration can process coil thickness from 3 mm to 12 mm, coil width from 300 mm to 2100 mm, coil inside diameter of 508 mm, coil outside diameter below 1800 mm, and coil weight up to 35 tons.
For customers producing construction tubes, precision tubes, automobile tubes, fence tubes, heat exchanger tubes, furniture tubes, API pipe or gas transportation pipe, a stable slitting line is the first step to control strip width and final pipe quality.
Many steel tube and metal processing factories face the same problem: the raw coil is too wide for downstream production.
